PayPal is rolling out one-touch payments across the web, letting customers to checkout from a merchant’s website without having to enter in their user ID and password all over again. One Touch for Web, is an extension of PayPal’s previous efforts on mobile. The vying payments platform Stripe has made thoughtful expansions in acquiring customers of its own, and this is when PayPal made the move for the much needed transformation. With One Touch, customers wouldn’t have to repeatedly enter in their username and password each time they wanted to pay using PayPal. The information would be stored and shared between supported apps. PayPal’s OneTouch for Web is arriving today in the U.S. but will expand internationally in the months ahead.
